REMOTE RECORDING
I began recording in my own purpose built studio over 20 years ago. I've amassed an extensive collection of mics, instruments, effects pedals and outboard including a bewildering range of effects pedals and processors. For a full list of gear please click HERE

Work from my studio can be heard on numerous films, TV shows, commercials, stadium shows, installations, production music, classical and pop recordings. Although mostly violin and viola I am also asked to record electric violin, electric viola, electric guitar, electric bass, acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin and keys.

Recent remote projects have been on 'Wonka' for Joby Talbot, several tracks for Passenger (Mike Rosenberg) 'Dick Turpin' and 'Greatest Days' for Oli Julian, Peter Gregson ('Patina' for Deutsche Gramafon, various commercials, a backing track for Chicago Ballet, King Baby) Godzilla: 'Kings and Monsters' for Tom Holkenborg, 'Direct Action' for Cora Miron, Tim Phillips ('Bad Sisters', Apple TV), Isobel Waller-Bridge, Ann Nikitin and Staffpad solo violin sample libraries for David Hearn.

PRADA Holiday 2025. Debussy's Clair de Lune. I worked with Peter Raeburn and the brilliant team at Soundtree to bring this Ad to life. The track had to mirror an old recording (tempo map and performance style) that had been used as the temp. I layered violins and violas and recorded the solo to get as close as possible to the original. Here is the result:
